A group's total area must equal the sum of its farmers' plots, and each farmer's organic area must not exceed the land they hold. When either rule breaks, the portal usually stops certificate work. This episode shows how to find and fix the mismatch, and how to handle a farmer who leaves.

Finding the Mismatch
Add up every farmer's plots and compare with the group total; the difference shows where to look.
- Export the member list.With each farmer's total land and organic area.

- Find the farmers causing it.Look for recent additions, removals or edits.
- Correct at the farmer level.With the land record as proof.

Organic Area Larger Than Total Land
A farmer's organic area cannot be larger than the land they hold; correct whichever figure is wrong.
- Check the land record for the farmer's real total area.
- If the total is wrong, correct it from the land record.
- If the organic area is wrong, reduce it to the area actually managed organically.
- Keep the land record copy on file for the RC.
When a Farmer Leaves
Record the exit and remove the farmer from the active list, without erasing their records; then check the group still has 5 members.
- Record the exit.Reason and date, in writing.
- Mark the farmer as left.Do not hard-delete; the group's history depends on the record.
- Recheck totals.The group's area should fall by the farmer's area.
- Check group size.Below 5 members, the group loses group status.
