When a group misses its peer appraisal or summary sheet deadline, the portal may stop accepting that season's upload. What happens next depends on how late it is. This episode sets out the deadlines, the consequences in the guidelines, and how to work with the Regional Council to recover.

Recovering a Late Season
Gather proof the appraisal happened, and ask the RC how the season will be handled.
- Collect the proof.Signed Format-9 worksheets, meeting minutes and attendance for the appraisal date.
- Check the date.The appraisal must have taken place inside the crop window.
- Write to the RC.Explain the delay and attach the proof.
- Follow the RC's decision.Where the portal must be reopened, the RC takes it up with the PGS-India Secretariat.
- Upload at once.When the upload is possible again, submit immediately.
An appraisal that did not happen inside the crop window cannot be made valid by a late upload. Only a real, dated appraisal can be recovered.
