NPOP is always required to export organic products from India. Whether it is enough depends entirely on where the product is going. Some markets accept it, some require a second certification, and some add their own certificate for every consignment.

- United States: USDA certification as well — the India recognition ended in January 2021.
- United Kingdom: a GB certificate of inspection for every consignment.
- Switzerland: recognises NPOP for unprocessed plant products.

NPOP Enough, or Not?
Switzerland and Taiwan accept NPOP (within limits). The US needs USDA. The UK has its own certificate.
