Peer appraisal results must reach the PGS-India portal accurately and on time. The Regional Council decides certification from them. This episode covers what goes on the portal, how to prepare it, and the errors that cause entries to fail.
The short version
- The portal needs each farmer's appraisal result and the group's summary sheet.
- Prepare everything in one sheet first: farmer, date, crops, findings, decision.

What Goes on the Portal
Each farmer's appraisal findings and status, the crops and estimated yields, and the group's summary sheet.
- Each farmer's appraisal: date, appraisers, findings and any non-compliance.
- The group's decision for each farmer: PGS-Organic or PGS-Green.
- Crops and estimated yields. The scope certificate is issued with the estimated yields approved during appraisal.
- The consolidated peer appraisal summary sheet.
Preparing the Data
Put every Format-9 worksheet into one master sheet, with the same columns for every farmer.

Entering and Checking
Enter group by group, save often, and check the counts against the master sheet before submitting.

- Check the counts.Farmers entered, crops and total estimated yield should match the master sheet.
- Submit the summary sheet.At least 7 days before harvest.
The exact portal screens may change. If a screen or option is missing, ask your Regional Council.
Illustrative workload. At 5 to 7 minutes per farmer, a 150-farmer cluster takes 12.5 to 17.5 hours of data entry each season.
Common Entry Errors
Dates outside the window, farmers not in the selected group, crops not registered, and yields too high for the area.
