Many agencies expect to re-register every farmer each year. PGS-India does not work that way: registration and farmer approval happen once, and what renews is certification, through the group's yearly cycle. This episode explains what renews, the yearly cycle, and why certification is sometimes not renewed.

What Renews and What Does Not
Registration and farmer approval do not renew; certification and the scope certificate do.

There is no fixed national renewal date for farmers, such as 31 March. The dates that matter come from each crop's sowing and harvest.
The Yearly Cycle
Meet, train, appraise within the window, upload the summary sheet, and upload actual yields after harvest.
- Meet and train.Four group meetings a year; training at least once a year.
- Appraise.Between 15 days after sowing and 15 days before harvest, on Format-9.
- Upload the summary sheet.At least 7 days before harvest. The RC decides within 30 days.
- Upload actual yields.Within 60 days of harvest. The RC approves within 15 days.
Why Certification Is Not Renewed
Missed appraisals, poor meeting attendance, major non-compliance, or data that does not match.
